I think that Jean Grey/ The Phoenix....is one of the greatest mutants :D

Heavily inspired by her and a song called "Phoenix Rises" by John Powell. Its a POWERFUL score. :heart:

Okay-is there a song or "reference" you don't know. The first idea that popped into my head was "she would make an excellent Jean Grey if they decide to make another movie." You've caught the classic wickedness of the old Chris Claremont years Dark Phoenix. (those were my favorite years :blush:)

I'm not a real fan of Jean but heck, Phoenix in all her stages was really nifty and so was Jean herself.

Sorry for going off track a little but I'm always impressed with how you translate music into your art-and even with characters from anime and comic books, movies and so on there is never any question as to who you are portraying-it's always so clear. Your work is always impressive as well as your knowledge (and your taste in music :) )

I'm sorry for such a long comment but I also wanted to thank you for your references to the Immortals. For so many years I thought my sisters and I were the only ones that picked up Mortal Kombat: The Album. It feels so good to know someone else loves that music as much as we do.
